There are two ways you can get the word out about your group. You can share your group with your friends by sending an email or posting a link to the group's website. Or, if your group's leaders have enabled the feature, you can invite your friends to join your group. To use either of these features, sign in to BigTent and click "Tell a Friend" in the Greetings Box, then follow the steps below.

1. To invite friends to join your group:
Choose how you want to add your friends' email addresses. Type or paste a list of emails into the box, or you can import contacts from your Web-based email (gmail, hotmail, aol, msn, yahoo). To import your contacts, type your username (the part before the @ sign) in the box and choose your email provider from the drop-down.

**Note** Group leaders must enable the "Invite Friends" feature for you to be able to send group invitations. Friends invited to the group will need to fill out a membership form online and group leaders may choose to review this form before permitting enrollment in the group.
2. To send more information to your friends or to share your group on Facebook:
