When creating a subgroup, group leaders have the option to designate another group leader the admin for the subgroup (in the field "enter subgroup admins name"). Adding a subgroup leader using this method will return an error message that the person is not recognized as a member of the group. If you encounter this error, simply enter the full email address of the member you'd like to have admin rights.
