If you are frequently getting signed out of BigTent, for example when you click on a forum topic or a tab in the Manage area, please follow the directions below to clear your web browser's cookies. This process will take less than a minute to complete.
1. Sign out of both BigTent & Facebook. Navigate away from BigTent (e.g., go to www.google.com).
2. Follow the directions below for your specific web browser:
Internet Explorer:
- Click "Tools" (located on the far right side of your IE toolbar).
- Go to the bottom of the menu and select "Internet Options."
- Go to the "Browsing History" section and click "delete."
- Ensure the "Cookies" box is checked and then click the "Delete" button.
Mozilla Firefox 3.0 (find your version of Firefox by going to the Help tab & clicking "About Mozilla Firefox"):
- Click "Tools" (located on the top menu bar) and select "Clear Private Data."
- Select "Cookies" and uncheck the rest of the boxes.
- Click "Clear Private Data."
Mozilla Firefox 3.5:
- Click "Tools" (located on the top menu bar) and select "Clear Recent History."
- Choose “Everything” for the “Time range to clear.”
- Select "Cookies" and uncheck the rest of the boxes.
- Click "Clear Now."
Mozilla Firefox 3.6:
- Click "Tools" (located on the top menu bar) and select "Options."
- Click "remove individual cookies" link located in the middle of the pop-up box.
- Click "Remove All Cookies" button.
Safari:
- Click "Safari" (located on the top menu bar) and select "Preferences."
- Click "Show Cookies" and wait for a new pop-up box to display.
- Click "Remove All" and click "Remove All" again when you get a prompt.
- Click "Done."
Once you've cleared your cookies please sign in to BigTent again. If the problem persist please contact our Support team and we'll continue to troubleshoot with you.
